Editing Blog

Today in class we learned about how to use the cameras and the procedure to get them. My teacher explained to us to take a camera form when checking out a camera. On the form, we have to print our name, group number, and our grade. She then showed us how to turn on the camera by which you flip the side of it out. She showed to us how it was touchscreen and you can play around with the settings. She then proceeded to show us how to use the cameras on the tripod. She made it taller and placed the camera onto the tripod. She then showed us the different angles in which you can then turn the camera for different shots.
After that, she then explained to us how to put our takes on the camera in a folder. She said to put the SD card in the SD reader, and then put the SD reader in the computer. She then showed us how to drag the different files into a folder by going into your stream. After this, she says to open up Pinnacle Studios. Then she showed us how to impost a file by pressing import. There should only be 1 login per group for Pinnacle Studios. She then says to us that you can't turn in your camera without dumping your footage. She says you can dump at home or on a USB.
She then goes on to say to import folder with footage into Pinnacle Studios by pressing my computer, and then selecting files. She then went over the takes and how the highlighted one is the one that will be edited. She says you can drag it into the editing track to build. She then teaches us how to cut parts by moving the video to the part where you want to cut, and then press the razor blade icon. To add a transition, you right click on the track and pick effects editor. When adding a title, click on the "T" for text. She says to save it press the word that is next to the word export. She says to save as a mp4 and then best authority.
